Celebrating Ghanaian Excellence Part 1: Ghanaian Businesses

Updated: Oct 23, 2020

October marks Black History Month in the UK, a time where we celebrate black excellence both past and present. To mark this occasion, we will be highlighting Ghanaian excellence, especially here in the UK.

Ghana was recently named as the world leader for women owned businesses, whereby an estimated 46.4% of women owned private businesses. With such a strong presence of both genders in the business sector, it can be seen that the entrepreneurial spirit is very much alive within the Ghanaian community. There are so many Ghanaian businesses here in the UK and UK Ghanaian businesses with links to Ghana. The recent lockdown also saw the launch of many more.

In this post, we’re going to highlight some Ghanaian owned UK businesses and brands that are doing amazing things.
